Hakuba Matata Lodge

Matata Lodge was a cozy retreat in a quiet neighborhood, with friendly staff. the breakfast was a delightful addition, and the pick-up service from the bus station was a great convenience. Teri's assistance in getting us to the slope was much appreciated, making our stay memorable.

Sofa bed too soft. Tiny toilet, tricky shower temperature.

Would recommend the place. Great hotel with accommodating staff, it has magnificent location on the hill.

my room included central heating, a fridge, and coffee/tea making machines. it had beautiful and excellent location next to hakuba art museum. btw, went to city center, located relatively close to the hotel.

The hotel was stunningly beautiful, with big-sized rooms. Beautiful building and rooms with a sofa bed that is very soft. - Wonderful area, great and stunning location, very close to nightlife and the restaurants and bars at ecoland and Hakuba for sightseeing and hiking over the weekend. - Fantastic experience there.

The room was extremely spacious with a dining area, sitting area, and a writing desk. the beds were very comfy. - the bathroom was large. - the location was favourable and convenient, just a short walk to a bus stop.

The rooms were spacious, complete with a sofa bed and a huge ceramic hot tub. The staff was sincere and the location was beautiful. There was a bus stop not far from the hotel.
